My failures......

Here is the 1st completed project I've knitted. Its a baby doll blanket for my DD. As you can see, I started at the bottom, and got better as I worked my way up. I worked in several stitches for practice, and beleive it or not ripped out a lot of it!

This is the second project I knitted while pg with #4 in Sept of last year. Its a baby hat apx sz 6-12 mos. It probably took me a month to do, sad I know! Its worked in k3, p3 ribbing. My DS #3 kept grabbing my needles and taking the stitches off! Ahhhh! So, that explains most of the issues in this one. Now he knows momma will be very MAD if he does it again.

This one I also consider a failure: project #3. It was to be a hat for an adult, I followed the directions as far as needle size and stitches, but I ended up with a hat that fits a 2 year old!!!! Not sure where I went wrong! All in all its ok, k1p1 ribbing at brim, the garter stitch throughout. I think my trouble here was the decreases. I started them too soon which is why its too small. Also, the top is funny....guess I'll throw a pom pom at the top for my friends daughter to wear. Completed in August.

So to all you new knitters out there....don't fret there are others right there with you, just keep knitting, just keep knitting, just keep knitting, knitting, knitting lol.
